The office problem
In a busy CA office the bottleneck is rarely technical knowledge — it is coordination. Who was asked for the bank statement, whether the review happened, which junior has spare capacity, whether the client replied. Every one of those questions costs a partner's attention. TaxOS answers them from the record instead of from memory.
Assigning and tracking work
Tasks are created against a client with an owner, priority, due date and status, and workflow steps carry their own owners in sequence. A step can be completed, sent for review or returned, and the trail of who did what stays on the engagement.
- Task boards by status
- Owner and priority on every item
- Workflow steps in the correct order
- Comments kept with the work
Documents, deadlines and staff
Document requests, uploads and approvals are tracked per client and year. Compliance items give the office a shared deadline view. Staff are invited with roles, and access to clients, billing and settings follows those roles rather than a shared login. TaxOS is practice-management software. It tracks, reminds and organises the work around compliance — it does not file returns with any government portal and never stores portal credentials.
Standardising the way the office works
Once a service has a workflow template, every future engagement of that type starts with the same steps, the same document requirements and the same review points — which is what makes an office scalable rather than dependent on individuals.
