A standard engagement flow
Most engagements follow the same shape, and writing it down once removes a surprising amount of daily coordination: New Client → KYC → Documents Requested → Documents Received → Review → Client Approval → Completed.
- New client created and assigned
- KYC captured and verified
- Documents requested per service
- Documents received and checked
- Internal review
- Client approval, then completion
Service-driven, not generic
Selecting a service for a client instantiates its workflow with the right steps and the right document requirements. Two different services on the same client run as two workflows, each with its own progress.
Steps with actions
A step can be completed, sent for review, returned for rework or set to wait for the client. Each action is recorded with who performed it and when, so the engagement carries its own history.
Scope
TaxOS is practice-management software: it tracks and reminds, and does not file returns with any government portal. Workflow steps track the practice's internal process and client interaction around the work.
