FAQ

Common Questions

How do I start using TaxOS?

Start the 7-day free trial, create your firm workspace and add your first client. No installation is required.

Where do the guides live?

Inside the product. The TaxOS Assistant is available on every screen and explains the screen you are on, which keeps guidance current with the product.

Can clients upload documents themselves?

Yes. You invite a client to the client portal and they upload documents and complete requested actions against their own record only.

Does TaxOS file returns with government portals?

No. TaxOS is practice-management software. It tracks obligations, documents and work — it does not submit filings to any government portal and it does not store portal credentials.

Can my whole team use one workspace?

Yes. Invite teammates by email and assign Owner, Manager or Staff roles that scope what each person can see and do.
